karma....

"What Goes Around Comes Around" by Justin Timberlake

Hey girl, is he everything you wanted in a man?
You know I gave you the world
You had me in the palm of your hand
So why your love went away
I just can't seem to understand
Thought it was me and you babe
Me and you until the end
But I guess I was wrong

Don't want to think about it
Don't want to talk about it
I'm just so sick about it
Can't believe it's ending this way
Just so confused about it
Feeling the blues about it
I just can't do without ya
Tell me is this fair?

Is this the way it's really going down?
Is this how we say goodbye?
Should've known better when you came around
That you were gonna make me cry
It's breaking my heart to watch you run around
'Cause I know that you're living a lie
That's okay baby 'cause in time you will find...

What goes around, goes around, goes around
Comes all the way back around
What goes around, goes around, goes around
Comes all the way back around
What goes around, goes around, goes around
Comes all the way back around
What goes around, goes around, goes around
Comes all the way back around

Now girl, I remember everything that you claimed
You said that you were moving on now
And maybe I should do the same
Funny thing about that is
I was ready to give you my name
Thought it was me and you, babe
And now, it's all just a shame
And I guess I was wrong

Don't want to think about it
Don't want to talk about it
I'm just so sick about it
Can't believe it's ending this way
Just so confused about it
Feeling the blues about it
I just can't do without ya
Can you tell me is this fair?

Is this the way it's really going down?
Is this how we say goodbye?
Should've known better when you came around (should've known better that you were gonna make me cry)
That you were going to make me cry
Now it's breaking my heart to watch you run around
'Cause I know that you're living a lie
That's okay baby 'cause in time you will find

What goes around, goes around, goes around
Comes all the way back around
What goes around, goes around, goes around
Comes all the way back around
What goes around, goes around, goes around
Comes all the way back around
What goes around, goes around, goes around
Comes all the way back around

What goes around comes around
Yeah
What goes around comes around
You should know that
What goes around comes around
Yeah
What goes around comes around
You should know that

Don't want to think about it (no)
Don't want to talk about it
I'm just so sick about it
Can't believe it's ending this way
Just so confused about it
Feeling the blues about it (yeah)
I just can't do without ya
Tell me is this fair?

Is this the way it's really going down?
Is this how we say goodbye?
Should've known better when you came around (should've known better that you were gonna make me cry)
That you were going to make me cry
Now it's breaking my heart to watch you run around
'Cause I know that you're living a lie
But that's okay baby 'cause in time you will find

What goes around, goes around, goes around
Comes all the way back around
What goes around, goes around, goes around
Comes all the way back around
What goes around, goes around, goes around
Comes all the way back around
What goes around, goes around, goes around
Comes all the way back around

[Comes Around interlude:]

Let me paint this picture for you, baby

You spend your nights alone
And he never comes home
And every time you call him
All you get's a busy tone
I heard you found out
That he's doing to you
What you did to me
Ain't that the way it goes

You cheated girl
My heart bleeds girl
So it goes without saying that you left me feeling hurt
Just a classic case
A scenario
Tale as old as time
Girl you got what you deserved

And now you want somebody
To cure the lonely nights
You wish you had somebody
That could come and make it right

But girl I ain't somebody with a lot of sympathy
You'll see

(What goes around comes back around)
I thought I told ya, hey
(What goes around comes back around)
I thought I told ya, hey
(What goes around comes back around)
I thought I told ya, hey
(What goes around comes back around)
I thought I told ya, hey

[laughs]
See?
You should've listened to me, baby
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah
Because
(What goes around comes back around)
[laughs]

Karma Police by Radiohead

Karma police
arrest this man,
he talks in maths,
he buzzes like a fridge,
he's like a detuned radio.

Karma police
arrest this girl,
her Hitler hairdo
is making me feel ill
and we have crashed her party.

This is what you get,
this is what you get,
this is what you get,
when you mess with us.

Karma police
I've given all I can,
it's not enough,
I've given all I can
but we're still on the payroll.

This is what you get,
this is what you get,
this is what you get,
when you mess with us.

For a minute there
I lost myself, I lost myself.
Phew, for a minute there,
I lost myself, I lost myself.

For a minute there
I lost myself, I lost myself.
Phew, for a minute there,
I lost myself, I lo
st myself.

does what goes around really comes around?

what if there is a karma police?

wouldn't the world then be a better place.. okay maybe not better but perhaps fairer??

so is the world fair?

hmmmmmm...................

Karma is in the eye of the beholder. It depends on how U think of it. Its all in the mind. Karma can also be a variation of what the mind wants U to think thus creating a new life form in another dimension of the human existence which inadvertedly affects our lives in a way deemed natural to our subconsious mind so we would never even realise the effect of that karma in our life which makes karma a hostile way of life which is just meant to believed and not understood.

gr3g>> very interesting point of view..i agree.. perhaps to the ppl who believe that karma exist (who realise that karma exist in their conscious mind), they make believe (or want to believe) that certain things which happened,HAPPENED BECAUSE of karma.. its definitely in the eye of the beholder...

suzhen>> i got emotional wit the song too after watchin the video clip... haha... n towards the end of the song justin's face looked sooo EVIL wei..

"What Goes Around... Comes Around" has been described as a second version of "Cry Me a River", due to the similarity in theme, structure, and tune of the two songs. Both songs are unforgiving indictments of an unfaithful lover. Despite the familiar topic, Timberlake has stated that, unlike "Cry Me a River", "What Goes Around..." is not about his former girlfriend Britney Spears.[1] Indeed, popular rumor suggests that "What Goes Around..." is about Timberlake's lifelong friend Trace Ayala and his relationship with Elisha Cuthbert. Cuthbert apparently cheated on Ayala, which caused them to break off their engagement. The song is also rumoured to be about the relationship the two developed while on the set of the TV series 24.

The song features a two minute interlude entitled "Comes Around" featuring the album's producer Timbaland. The beat is changed to a more upbeat version of the same melody with more percussion beats. Whereas in "What Goes Around..." Timberlake laments how his ex-lover has hurt him, "...Comes Around" discusses how karma has caught up with the former flame, because now her new boyfriend is treating her the same way she treated Timberlake in the first portion of the song.

The song has received generally positive reviews. Billboard magazine praised the single, suggesting it was superior to the two previous FutureSex/LoveSounds releases, "SexyBack" and "My Love." Billboard reviewer Chuck Taylor said, "To call this 'Cry Me a River, Pt. 2' is among the greatest compliments we can muster, given the disposable quality of the previous two releases." He also went onto predict that the song would continue Timberlake's string of hits: "Sounds like three in a row for Timberlake." About.com reviewer Bill Lamb stated that the song "is one of the most gorgeous pop melodies of the year."[2]

With "What Goes Around...", Timberlake accomplished another chart feat: he became the first male artist since Usher in 2004 to have three or more consecutive No.1 hits from one album.[3]

Timberlake performed the song on the Grammy Awards in 2007.[4]
